Transliteration

kāraṇaṃ caiva tat teṣām ācacakṣe tapasvinām | tān ugratapasaḥ prītān kṛtvā pārthāḥ pradakṣiṇām ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Ipinaliwanag ng magkakapatid na Pāṇḍava sa mga asetang iyon ang tunay na dahilan ng kanilang pagpapatawag. Nang mapasaya nila ang mga pantas na mahigpit sa pag-aayuno at pagtitika, ang mga anak ni Kuntī ay umikot sa kanila nang may paggalang.
