ते सर्वे त्वरिता गत्वा ददृुशु: शुभकाननाम् | पद्मसौगन्धिकवतीं नलिनीं सुमनोरमाम्,उन सबने शीघ्रतापूर्वक जाकर सुन्दर वनस्थलीसे सुशोभित वह अत्यन्त मनोरम सरोवर देखा, जिसमें सौगन्धिक कमल थे
te sarve tvaritā gatvā dadṛśuḥ śubhakānanām | padmasaugandhikavatīṃ nalinīṃ sumanoramām ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: Nagmadali silang lahat at nasilayan ang isang lubhang kaaya-ayang lawa ng mga lotus, mabango sa mga lotus na saugandhika, na nakalatag sa gitna ng isang marikit na kakahuyan.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
