तथा पुरुषशार्दूल मानुषाश्न परंतप | सहस्रशो हायुतशो वर्धन्ते सलिलं यथा,शत्रुओंको संताप देनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ जैसे बरसातमें पानी बढ़ता है, उसी प्रकार मनुष्य भी हजार एवं दस हजार गुनी संख्यामें बढ़ने लगे

Transliteration

tathā puruṣaśārdūla mānuṣāś ca parantapa | sahasraśo hy āyutaśo vardhante salilaṃ yathā ||

Translation

Sinabi ni Lomaśa: “Gayon din, O tigre sa mga tao, O tagasunog ng mga kaaway: kung paanong lumolobo ang tubig sa panahon ng tag-ulan, gayon din dumami ang mga tao—sa libo-libo at sa sampu-sampung libo.”
