Gaṅgā-Tīrtha Darśana and the Prelude to the Yavakrīta–Indra Exemplum (लोमश-युधिष्ठिर संवादः)
अत्र कौन्तेय सहितो भ्रातृभिस्त्व॑ सुखोषित: सह विप्रै: प्रतीत: । पुण्यान्यन्यानि शुचिकर्मैकभक्ति- मया सार्थ चरितस्याजमीढ,अजमीढकुलभूषण कुन्तीनन्दन! तुम विश्वासपूर्वक अपने भाइयों और ब्राह्मणोंके साथ यहाँ एक रात सुखसे रहकर कलसे पुनः मेरे साथ पवित्र कर्मोमें अविचल श्रद्धा-भक्ति रखते हुए दूसरे-दूसरे पुण्यतीर्थोकी यात्रा करना
atra kaunteyaḥ sahito bhrātṛbhis tvam sukhoṣitaḥ saha vipraiḥ pratītaḥ | puṇyāny anyāni śucikarmaikabhakti-mayā sārtha caritasyājāmīḍha, ajāmīḍha-kula-bhūṣaṇa kuntī-nandana! tvaṃ viśvāsa-pūrvakaṃ svabhrātṛbhiḥ brāhmaṇaiś ca saha iha ekarātraṃ sukhaṃ uṣitvā śvas punaḥ mayā sārdhaṃ pavitra-karmasu acala-śraddhā-bhaktiṃ dhṛtvā anyāny api puṇya-tīrthāni paryaṭa
Dito, O anak ni Kuntī, manatili nang maginhawa sa loob ng isang gabi kasama ang iyong mga kapatid at ang mga Brahmin, taglay ang ganap na pagtitiwala at mabuting kalooban. Pagdating ng bukas, maglakbay kang muli kasama ko patungo sa iba pang mga banal na tawiran at sagradong pook—gumanap ng malilinis na ritwal at panatilihin ang di-natitinag, iisang-pusong debosyon sa matuwid na asal. O inapo ni Ajāmīḍha, hiyas ng angkan ni Ajāmīḍha, nawa’y mamarkahan ang iyong paglalakbay-dambana ng pananampalataya, kadalisayan, at katatagan sa dharma.
लोगश उवाच
The verse emphasizes dharmic pilgrimage: rest with trusted companions, then continue to sacred places while maintaining purity of conduct (śuci-karma) and unwavering, single-minded devotion (eka-bhakti) grounded in faith (śraddhā).
The speaker addresses Kaunteya (the Pāṇḍava leader) and invites him to stay one night comfortably with his brothers and accompanying Brahmins, then to resume a guided pilgrimage to other holy tīrthas, stressing faithful and pure observance of rites and conduct.
