स वै यत्नेन महता तासु पुत्र महीपति: । कंचिन्नासादयामास कालेन महता हापि,परंतु दीर्घकालतक महान् प्रयत्न करते रहनेपर भी वे अपनी उन रानियोंके गर्भसे कोई पुत्र न प्राप्त कर सके
sa vai yatnena mahatā tāsu putra mahīpatiḥ | kañcin nāsādayāmāsa kālena mahatā api |
Nagpumilit ang hari nang may malaking pagsisikap upang magkaanak na lalaki sa mga asawang iyon; subalit kahit lumipas ang mahabang panahon, hindi pa rin siya nagtagumpay na magkaroon ng isang anak na lalaki mula sa kanila.
