The Birth and Career Account of Māndhātṛ
लोमश उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजनू् राज्ञस्तस्य महात्मन: । यथा मान्धातृशब्दो वै लोकेषु परिगीयते,लोमशजीने कहा--राजन्! लोकमें उन महामना नरेशका “*मान्धाता” नाम कैसे प्रचलित हुआ? यह बतलाता हूँ, ध्यान देकर सुनो
Lomaśa uvāca: śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan rājñas tasya mahātmanaḥ | yathā Māndhātṛ-śabdo vai lokeṣu parigīyate ||
Sinabi ni Lomaśa: “Makinig kang mabuti, O Hari, habang ipinaliliwanag ko ang tungkol sa dakilang-loob na monarkang iyon—kung paanong ang pangalang ‘Māndhātṛ’ ay ipinagdiriwang at inaawit sa lahat ng daigdig.”
