Cyavana’s Sacrifice and the Aśvins’ Soma Dispute
ग्रहीष्यन्तं तु तं सोममश्रिनोरुत्तमं तदा । समीक्ष्य बलभिद् देव इदं वचनमब्रवीत्
grahīṣyantaṃ tu taṃ somam aśrino ruttamaṃ tadā | samīkṣya balabhid devo idaṃ vacanam abravīt |
Ngunit noon din, nang siya’y aagaw na sa Somang yaon—pinakamainam at maningning—namasdan siya ni Balabhid, ang diyos na dumudurog sa lakas, at nagsalita ng ganito.

The verse highlights that power and desire must be governed by dharma: when someone is poised to take what is not rightly theirs, a higher moral authority may intervene to restrain the act and restore proper order.
A figure is on the verge of taking the supreme Soma; Indra (called Balabhid) notices this impending act and begins to address it, setting up a corrective or admonitory speech.
