ततः प्रसन्ना पृथिवी तपसा तस्य पाण्डव । पुनरुन्नह्ा सलिलाद्‌ वेदीरूपा स्थिता बभौ

tataḥ prasannā pṛthivī tapasā tasya pāṇḍava | punar unnahā salilād vedīrūpā sthitā babhau ||

Pagkaraan, O Pāṇḍava, ang Daigdig—nalugod sa kanyang tapas (mahigpit na pag-aayuno at pagninilay)—ay muling umangat mula sa mga tubig at nagpakitang nakatindig sa anyo ng isang altar. Ipinahihiwatig ng pangyayaring ito na ang disiplinadong tapas, kapag nakaayon sa katuwiran, ay pinaniniwalaang nakapagbabalik ng kaayusan at katatagan sa sanlibutan.
