गङ्गाधारणम् (Gaṅgādhāraṇa) — Śiva Bears the Descent of Gaṅgā
स करिष्यति ते काम॑ पितृणां हितकाम्यया | (तपसा<55राधित: शम्भुर्भगवॉल्लोकभावन: ।) “विश्वभावन भगवान् शंकर तपस्याद्वारा आराधना करनेपर तुम्हारे पितरोंके हितकी इच्छासे अवश्य तुम्हारा मनोरथ पूर्ण करेंगे”
sa kariṣyati te kāmaṃ pitṝṇāṃ hitakāmyayā | (tapasā ārādhitaḥ śambhur bhagavān lokabhāvanaḥ) |
Tiyak na tutuparin niya ang iyong hiling, sapagkat ang nais mo ay kapakanan ng iyong mga ninuno. Si Śambhu—si Śaṅkara, ang pinagpalang tagapagtaguyod ng mga daigdig—kapag napalugod sa pamamagitan ng pagtitika, ay nagkakaloob ng ninanais na biyaya, lalo na kung ang layon ay matuwid at para sa ikabubuti ng mga ninuno.
