Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly
ततो रथेन शुभ्रेण महता किड्किणीकिना । हयोत्तमयुजा शीघ्रमुपातिषछ्तत दारुक:,इसके बाद क्षुद्र घण्टिकाओंसे विभूषित और उत्तम घोड़ोंसे जुते हुए चमकीले विशाल रथके साथ दारुक शीघ्र ही भगवान्की सेवामें उपस्थित हुआ
tato rathena śubhreṇa mahatā kiṅkiṇīkinā | hayottamayujā śīghram upātiṣṭhata dārukaḥ ||
Pagkaraan nito, si Dāruka ay dagling dumating upang maglingkod, dala ang isang maringal at malaking karwaheng makinang, pinalamutian ng maliliit na kampanilyang kumakalansing, at nakayuko sa pinakamahuhusay na kabayo.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic readiness: a servant or attendant should respond promptly and with disciplined respect, bringing the proper means (here, the well-prepared chariot) for the task at hand—an ethical model of responsible service.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Dāruka quickly arrives to attend, bringing a magnificent, bell-adorned chariot yoked with excellent horses—signaling immediate preparation for the next royal or strategic movement.
