Kṛṣṇa at Duryodhana’s House: Refusal of Hospitality and Departure to Vidura (कृष्णस्य धार्तराष्ट्रनिवेशनगमनम्)
दुर्योधनेन निकृता वर्षमद्य चतुर्दशम् । दुःखादपि सुखं न: स्याद् यदि पुण्यफलक्षय:
duryodhanena nikṛtā varṣam adya caturdaśam | duḥkhād api sukhaṃ naḥ syād yadi puṇyaphalakṣayaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: “Inapi tayo ng kawalang-katarungan ni Duryodhana—inalisan tayo ng kaharian sa pamamagitan ng panlilinlang. Ngayon, lumipas na ang ika-labing-apat na taon habang nananatili tayo sa abang kalagayang ito. Kung ang pagdama ng ligaya ay nangangahulugang nauubos ang naipong kabutihang-loob, kung gayon, yamang tiniis na natin ang pagdurusa bilang bunga ng kasalanan, nararapat na matapos ang dalamhati ay makamtan din natin ang kaligayahan.”
