कुरुसभायां केशवागमन-सत्कारविधानम् / Preparations to Honor Keśava at the Kuru Court
यत्र यत्र च वार्ष्णेयो वर्तते पथि भारत । तत्र तत्र सुखो वायु: सर्व चासीत् प्रदक्षिणम्,भारत! वृष्णिनन्दन श्रीकृष्ण मार्गमें जहाँ-जहाँ रहते थे, वहाँ-वहाँ सुखदायिनी वायु चलती थी और सभी शुभ शकुन उनके दाहिने भागमें प्रकट होते थे
yatra yatra ca vārṣṇeyo vartate pathi bhārata | tatra tatra sukho vāyuḥ sarvaṃ cāsīt pradakṣiṇam ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: “O Bhārata, saanman maglakbay sa daan si Vārṣṇeya (Śrī Kṛṣṇa), ang ligaya ng mga Vṛṣṇi, doon ay umiihip ang banayad at kaaya-ayang simoy; at sa bawat pook, ang lahat ng mabubuting pangitain ay lumilitaw sa kanyang kanang panig—mga tanda na ang kanyang paglalakbay at layon ay sinusuportahan ng mga mapagpalang puwersa at nakaayon sa dharma.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the traditional Mahābhārata idea that alignment with dharma manifests as auspicious signs: nature itself (a pleasant breeze) and omens (right-side, pradakṣiṇa) indicate moral and providential support for Kṛṣṇa’s mission.
As Kṛṣṇa travels on the road during the Udyoga Parva’s pre-war negotiations, the narrator notes that wherever he goes, favorable winds and rightward auspicious omens appear—foreshadowing the significance and righteousness associated with his role in the unfolding events.
