Sañjaya’s Knowledge of Keśava and the Discipline of Indriya-nigraha (संजयस्य केशवज्ञानम्—इन्द्रियनिग्रह-उपदेशः)
भूयो भूयो हि यद् राजन् पृच्छसे पाण्डवानू् प्रति । सारासारबल ज्ञातुं तत् समासेन मे शृणु
bhūyo bhūyo hi yad rājan pṛcchase pāṇḍavānū prati | sārāsārabala jñātuṃ tat samāsena me śṛṇu ||
Wika ni Sañjaya: “O Hari, yamang paulit-ulit mong itinatanong ang tungkol sa mga Pāṇḍava—upang maunawaan ang tunay na diwa at ang di-tunay, at upang masukat ang kanilang tunay na lakas—pakinggan mo ako habang ipinaliliwanag ko ito nang maikli.”
