Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 58 — Saṃjaya’s Audience and Kṛṣṇa’s Deterrent Counsel (संजय-प्रवेशः कृष्णवाक्यं च)

अर्जुनोत्सड्रगौ पादौ केशवस्योपलक्षये । अर्जुनस्य च कृष्णायां सत्यायां च महात्मन:,मैंने देखा, श्रीकृष्णके दोनों चरण अर्जुनकी गोदमें थे और महात्मा अर्जुनका एक पैर द्रौपदीकी तथा दूसरा सत्यभामाकी गोदमें था

sañjaya uvāca | arjunotsṛjagau pādau keśavasyopalakṣaye | arjunasya ca kṛṣṇāyāṃ satyāyāṃ ca mahātmanaḥ ||

Wika ni Sañjaya: Nasaksihan ko na ang dalawang paa ni Keśava (Kṛṣṇa) ay nakapatong sa kandungan ni Arjuna; at ang dakilang-loob na si Arjuna naman ay may isang paa na nakahimlay sa kandungan ni Kṛṣṇā (Draupadī) at ang isa pa sa kandungan ni Satyā (Satyabhāmā). Ipinahihiwatig ng tanawing ito ang isang masinsing tagpong pangtahanan ng paggalang at paglalapit-loob sa pagitan ng mga pangunahing tauhan—larawan ng ugnayang personal at dangal na lalo pang tumatampok sa gitna ng bigat ng pulitika at nalalapit na digmaan sa Udyoga Parva.
