अर्थागमो नित्यमरोगिता च प्रिया च भार्या प्रियवादिनी च । वश्यश्न पुत्रो$र्थकरी च विद्या षड़्‌ जीवलोकस्य सुखानि राजन्‌,राजन! धनकी प्राप्ति, नित्य नीरोग रहना, स्त्रीका अनुकूल तथा प्रियवादिनी होना, पुत्रका आज्ञाके अंदर रहना तथा धन पैदा करानेवाली विद्याका ज्ञान--ये छः बातें इस मनुष्यलोकमें सुखदायिनी होती हैं

Transliteration

arthāgamo nityam arogitā ca priyā ca bhāryā priyavādinī ca | vaśyaś ca putro 'rthakarī ca vidyā ṣaḍ jīvalokasya sukhāni rājan ||

Translation

Sabi ni Vidura: “O Hari, anim ang itinuturing na tunay na ginhawa sa daigdig ng tao: ang tuluy-tuloy na pagdating ng yaman; ang palagiang kalusugan na walang sakit; ang minamahal na asawang maunawain at may mabuting pananalita; ang anak na masunurin at nasa ilalim ng disiplina; at ang kaalamang nagbubunga ng kasaganaan.”
