Drupada’s Alarm and Inquiry Regarding Śikhaṇḍinī (द्रुपदस्य भय-विमर्शः)

यक्षा ऊचु. ट्रुपदस्य सुता राजन्‌ राज्ञो जाता शिखण्डिनी । तस्या निमित्ते कर््मिंश्चित्‌ प्रादात्‌ पुरुषलक्षणम्‌

yakṣā ūcuḥ | drupadasya sutā rājan rājño jātā śikhaṇḍinī | tasyā nimitte karmiṃścit prādāt puruṣalakṣaṇam |

Sinabi ng mga Yaksha: “O Hari, ang anak ni Drupada ay isinilang na si Shikhandini, isang prinsesa. Ngunit alang-alang sa kanya, may isang gumawa ng isang gawa kung saan ipinagkaloob ang mga tanda at katangian ng isang lalaki.”
