अम्बायाः तपोदीक्षा–रुद्रवर–आत्मदाहः

ततस्ता राजशार्दूल धात्र्यो दाशार्णिकास्तदा । जम्मुरार्ति परां प्रेष्या: प्रेषयामासुरेव च

Transliteration

tatas tā rājarṣabha dhātryo dāśārṇikās tadā | jamburārtim parāṁ preṣyāḥ preṣayāmāsur eva ca ||

Translation

Pagkaraan nito, O bantog sa mga hari, nabalot ng matinding dalamhati ang mga tagapagpasuso ng Dāśārṇa. Upang maihatid ang balitang ito, nagsugo sila ng maraming aliping babae sa hari ng Dāśārṇa. Ipinakikita ng sipi ang agarang pagkilos ng tapat na paglilingkod at ang bigat ng pananagutang moral na nadarama ng mga tagapag-alaga kapag biglang tinatamaan ng kapahamakan ang sambahayan ng hari.
