भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा

Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors

तेजोवधमिमं कुर्याद्‌ विभेदयिषुराहवे । यथा त्वं गुणविद्वेषादपरागं चिकीर्षसि

tejovadham imaṁ kuryād vibhedayiṣur āhave | yathā tvaṁ guṇavidveṣād aparāgaṁ cikīrṣasi ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Sino ang, sa pagnanais maghasik ng pagkakahati sa gitna ng labanan, gagawa ng ganitong bagay—ang wasakin ang alab at diwa ng mandirigmang nasa sarili niyang panig? Gaya ng ginagawa mo, dahil sa poot mo sa aking mga kabutihan, na nais mong ilayo sa akin ang mga hari, gayon din ngayon ay sinusubukan mong lumikha ng lamat sa sandaling ito—kung kailan dumating na ang pagkakataon ng digmaan at nagkatipon ang mararangal na haring magkakapantay ang antas.”
