भीमस्य वचन श्रुत्वा सहदेवस्य चोभयो:,मन्दा गृहेषु सुखिनो मृत्युपाशवशं गता: । भीमसेन और सहदेव दोनोंके वचन सुनकर अर्जुनने भीमसेनसे मुसकराते हुए कहा --आर्य भीम! जिनका आपके साथ वैर ठन गया है, वे घरमें बैठकर सुखका अनुभव करनेवाले मूर्ख कौरव कालके पाशमें बाँध गये हैं (अर्थात्‌ उनका जीवन नहींके बराबर है)

bhīmasya vacanaṁ śrutvā sahadevasya cobhayoḥ, mandā gṛheṣu sukhino mṛtyupāśavaśaṁ gatāḥ |

Sinabi ni Sañjaya: Nang marinig ni Arjuna ang mga salita nina Bhīma at Sahadeva, ngumiti siya at nagsalita kay Bhīmasena: “Marangal na Bhīma! Yaong mga hangal na Kaurava na nakipag-alitan sa iyo—bagama’t nakaupo sa bahay at inaakalang sila’y masaya—sa katotohanan ay nahulog na sa silo ng Kamatayan; kaya’t ang kanilang buhay ay wari’y nawala na.”
