Adhyāya 160: Arjuna’s Envoy-Message—Critique of Borrowed Valor and Pre-dawn Mobilization
This line is a colophon marking the close of a chapter; ethically, it frames Ulūka’s embassy within the larger theme of war-preparation, where speech and diplomacy are tested against dharma before violence becomes inevitable.
The text signals the end of the chapter that belongs to the episode of Ulūka’s arrival as Duryodhana’s messenger and the record of his address; it is a structural closing formula rather than a spoken verse-content.
