Rukmī’s Offer of Aid and Arjuna’s Refusal (रुक्मिप्रस्तावः—अर्जुनप्रत्याख्यानम्)
भवता हि वंय गुप्ता: शक्रेणेव दिवौकस: । अनाधृष्या भविष्यामस्त्रिदशानामपि ध्रुवम्,“इन्द्रके द्वारा सुरक्षित देवताओंकी भाँति आपके संरक्षणमें रहकर हमलोग निश्चय ही देवगणोंके लिये भी अजेय हो जायँगे
bhavatā hi vayaṁ guptāḥ śakreṇeva divaukasaḥ | anādhṛṣyā bhaviṣyāmas tridāśānām api dhruvam ||
Sapagkat sa iyong pag-iingat—gaya ng pag-iingat ni Śakra (Indra) sa mga diyos—kami’y tiyak na magiging di-masasalakay, tunay na di-matatalo, kahit pa laban sa mga hukbo ng Tatlumpu’t Tatlo.
