Bhīṣma’s Appointment as Commander-in-Chief
युधिष्टिरस्त्वभिप्रायमभिलक्ष्य महीक्षिताम् । योगमाज्ञापयामास भीमार्जुनयमै: सह,युधिष्ठिरने राजाओंका अभिप्राय समझकर भीम, अर्जुन तथा नकुल-सहदेवके साथ उन्हें युद्धके लिये तैयार हो जानेकी आज्ञा दे दी
yudhiṣṭiras tv abhiprāyam abhilakṣya mahīkṣitām | yogam ājñāpayāmāsa bhīmārjunayamaiḥ saha ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: Si Yudhiṣṭhira, nang maunawaan ang hangarin ng mga haring nagkatipon, ay nagbigay ng utos—kasama sina Bhīma, Arjuna, at ang kambal na sina Nakula at Sahadeva—na ihanda ang lahat para sa digmaan.
