निर्याताश्न विनाशाय कुरुक्षेत्र नराधिपा: । एतत्‌ ते कथितं राजन्‌ यद्‌ वृत्तं कुरुसंसदि,सब राजा अपने विनाशके लिये कुरक्षेत्रको प्रस्थान कर चुके हैं। राजन्‌! कौरव-सभामें जो कुछ हुआ था, वह सारा वृत्तान्त मैंने तुमसे कह सुनाया

Transliteration

niryātāś ca vināśāya kurukṣetraṁ narādhipāḥ | etat te kathitaṁ rājan yad vṛttaṁ kurusaṁsadi ||

Translation

O hari, ang mga pinunò ay nakapaglakbay na patungong Kurukṣetra, humahakbang tungo sa sarili nilang kapahamakan. At, O Rājan, naisalaysay ko na sa iyo ang buong pangyayari sa kapulungan ng mga Kuru—kung paanong ang mga naganap doon ay umusad at humantong sa mapait na pagmamartsa tungo sa digmaan.
