त्वमेव कर्ण जानासि वेदवादान् सनातनान् । त्वमेव धर्मशास्त्रेषु सूक्ष्मेषु परिनिष्ठित:,कर्ण! सनातन वैदिक सिद्धान्त क्या है? इसे तुम अच्छी तरह जानते हो। धर्मशास्त्रोंके सूक्ष्म विषयोंके भी तुम परिनिष्ठित विद्वान् हो
tvam eva karṇa jānāsi vedavādān sanātanān | tvam eva dharmaśāstreṣu sūkṣmeṣu pariniṣṭhitaḥ, karṇa |
Wika ni Vāyu: “Ikaw lamang, O Karṇa, ang tunay na nakaaalam ng walang-hanggang mga aral na ipinahayag sa mga Veda. Ikaw lamang ang matatag na ganap sa maseselang turo ng mga Dharmaśāstra. Kaya ikaw ang may kakayahang kumilala sa tama, kahit ang tungkulin ay maging masalimuot at pinagtatalunan.”
