सुखं नैवेह नामुत्र लभन्ते पुरुषाधमा: । बेटा! जो इस प्रकार विनयशून्य एवं अशिक्षित पौत्रसे हर्षको प्राप्त होता है तथा उद्योगरहित

sukhaṃ naiveha nāmutra labhante puruṣādhamāḥ |

Ang pinakamasamang uri ng tao ay hindi nakakamit ang ligaya, ni sa mundong ito ni sa susunod. Sapagkat kung ipagmamapuri niya ang mga supling na hindi naturuan, walang pagpapakumbaba, tamad, magaspang ang asal at mangmang—na alinman ay hindi kumikilos, o kung kumilos man ay gumagawa ng mga gawaing karapat-dapat sisihin—ang ganitong lahi ay nagiging sanhi ng kapahamakan, hindi ng kabutihan; kaya’t wala silang tunay na ginhawa sa buhay na ito at wala rin sa kabilang buhay.
