न हि विज्ञायते शक्र: कि वा प्राप्त: क्व वा गत: । तत्त्वमेतत् तु विज्ञाय यदि न ज्ञायते प्रभो,“अभी यह पता नहीं है कि देवेन्द्र किस अवस्थामें पड़े हैं? अथवा कहाँ चले गये हैं? प्रभो! इसका ठीक-ठीक पता लगानेपर यदि कोई बात मालूम नहीं हो सकी, तो मैं आपकी सेवामें उपस्थित हो जाऊँगी। यह मैं आपसे सत्य कहती हूँ।” इन्द्राणीके ऐसा कहनेपर नहुषको बड़ी प्रसन्नता हुई

Tunay ngang hindi nalalaman kung saan naparoon si Śakra (Indra), ni kung ano ang kalagayan niya ngayon. O panginoon, kung matapos matiyak ang katotohanan ng bagay na ito ay wala ring matuklasan, kung gayon ay haharap ako upang maglingkod sa iyong piling—ito ang sinasabi ko sa iyo nang tapat. Indrani indicates that if, after inquiry, Indra's whereabouts cannot be known, she will come into the lord's service. This statement pleases Nahusha, advancing the episode where Nahusha seeks to compel Indrani while Indra remains hidden.
