Duryodhana’s Reply in the Kuru Assembly

“तथा तुम्हें पास बिठाकर रत्न एवं ओषधियोंसे युक्त लाल हथेलीवाले हाथसे तुम्हारी पीठको धीरे-धीरे सहलायें ।।

vaiśampāyana uvāca | śālaskandho mahābāhus tvāṃ svajano vṛkodaraḥ | sāmnābhivadatāṃ cāpi śāntaye bharatarṣabha ||

Sinabi ni Vaiśaṃpāyana: “Ganyan nga—paupuin siya sa iyong tabi at, sa mapulang palad na may mga hiyas at mga halamang-gamot, marahan niyang haplusin ang iyong likod. At si Bhīmasena—balikat na matayog na gaya ng punò ng śāla, makapangyarihang bisig, sarili mong kaanak na kilala bilang Vṛkodara—ay para rin sa kapayapaan, yayakapin ka nang buong puso at kakausap sa iyo ng malalambing na salitang mapagkasundo, O hiyas ng mga Bharata.”
