मिथ्योपचरितास्तात जन्मप्रभूति बान्धवा: । त्वयि सम्यड्महाबाहो प्रतिपन्ना यशस्विन:,“तात महाबाहो! यद्यपि तुमने अपने ही भाई पाण्डवोंके साथ जन्मसे ही छल-कपटका बर्ताव किया है, तथापि वे यशस्वी पाण्डव तुम्हारे प्रति सदा सद्भाव ही रखते आये हैं
mithyopacaritās tāta janmaprabhṛti bāndhavāḥ | tvayi samyaṅ mahābāho pratipannā yaśasvinaḥ ||
Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Mahal kong anak, O makapangyarihang bisig, bagaman mula pa sa pagsilang ay tinrato mo ang sarili mong mga kamag-anak sa panlilinlang at di-wastong asal, ang mga Pāṇḍava na tanyag sa dangal ay patuloy na nagpanatili ng tapat at mabuting kalooban sa iyo.”
