माधवी-प्रदानम् (Mādhavī Offered to Gālava) — Udyoga Parva 113
ययातिननम राजर्षिनाहुष: सत्यविक्रम: । स दास्यति मया चोक्तो भवता चार्थित: स्वयम्
yayātinam rājaṛṣim nāhuṣaḥ satyavikramaḥ | sa dāsyati mayā cokto bhavatā cārthitaḥ svayam ||
Sinabi ni Nārada: “Ang tapat at magiting na haring Nāhuṣa ay ipagkakaloob sa iyo ang maharlikang rishi na si Yayāti. Naipabatid ko na ito sa kanya, at ikaw mismo ay humiling na rin nang sarili.”
