न२्च्स्स्न्तािस्सि हु ल्डड्जन्प्ट् द्वादर्शाधिकशततमो< ध्याय: गरुड़की पीठपर बैठकर पूर्व दिशाकी ओर जाते हुए गालवका उनके वेगसे व्याकुल होना गालव उवाच गरुत्मन् भुजगेन्द्रारे सुपर्ण विनतात्मज । नय मां तार्क्ष्य पूर्वेण यत्र धर्मस्य चक्षुषी
Gālava uvāca: Garutman bhujagendrāre suparṇa vinatātmaja | naya māṁ tārkṣya pūrveṇa yatra dharmasya cakṣuṣī ||
Wika ni Gālava: “O Garutmān—kaaway ng mga panginoon ng ahas, O Suparṇa, anak ni Vinatā, O Tārkṣya—dalhin mo ako sa silangan, sa lupain na doo’y nagniningning ang Araw at ang Buwan, ang dalawang mata ng Dharma.”
गालव उवाच
The verse frames the Sun and Moon as ‘the two eyes of Dharma,’ suggesting that righteousness is not merely private intention but a cosmic, observable order—illumined and witnessed by universal principles.
Gālava addresses Garuḍa with a series of honorific epithets and requests to be carried eastward, toward the realm where the Sun and Moon shine—marking a purposeful journey under the sign of Dharma.
