Nahuṣa Abhiṣeka and the Crisis of Restraint (नहुषाभिषेकः—दमभ्रंशः)
न भेतव्यं च नहुषात् सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते । समानयिष्ये शक्रेण न चिराद् भवतीमहम्,यह सुनकर बृहस्पतिने भयसे व्याकुल हुई इन्द्राणीसे कहा--*देवि! मैंने तुमसे जो कुछ कहा है, वह सब अवश्य सत्य होगा। तुम शीघ्र ही देवराज इन्द्रको यहाँ आया हुआ देखोगी। नहुषसे तुम्हें डरना नहीं चाहिये। मैं सच्ची बात कहता हूँ, थोड़े ही दिनोंमें तुम्हें इन्द्रसे मिला दूँगा'
na bhetavyaṃ ca nahuṣāt satyam etad bravīmi te | samānayiṣye śakreṇa na cirād bhavatīm aham ||
“Huwag kang matakot kay Nahūṣa. Sinasabi ko ito sa iyo nang may katotohanan: di magtatagal at ako mismo ang magbabalik sa iyo kay Śakra (Indra).”
