यत्र विष्णुकथा दिव्या: श्रुतयश्चन सनातना: । तत् श्रोतव्यं मनुष्येण परं पदमिहेच्छता
yatra viṣṇukathā divyāḥ śrutayaś ca na sanātanāḥ | tat śrotavyaṃ manuṣyeṇa paraṃ padam ihecchatā |
Kung saan matatagpuan ang mga banal na salaysay tungkol kay Panginoong Viṣṇu, kasama ng walang-hanggang mga pahayag ng Veda, yaong Mahābhārata ay tiyak na dapat pakinggan ng taong, sa mismong daigdig na ito, naghahangad ng pinakamataas na kalagayan.
