संहितापुस्तकान् राजन् प्रयतः सुसमाहित:ः । भक्ष्यैमल्यैश्न पेयैश्व कामैश्न विविधै: शुभ:
saṁhitāpustakān rājan prayataḥ susamāhitaḥ | bhakṣyaiḥ mālyaiś ca peyaiś ca kāmaiś ca vividhaiḥ śubhaiḥ ||
Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “O Hari, taglay ang pagpipigil-sa-sarili at isip na ganap na natitipon, nararapat na parangalan nang wasto ang mga nalikom na aklat ng saṁhitā. Sa pag-aalay ng mahuhusay na pagkain, mga garland, mga inumin, at iba’t ibang mapalad at kanais-nais na kaloob, dapat siyang sumamba nang may tuon at kalinisan ng loob.”
