द्रोणपर्वणि विप्रेभ्यो भोजनं परमार्चितम्‌

Transliteration

droṇaparvaṇi viprebhyo bhojanaṃ paramārcitam

Translation

Sinabi ni Vaiśampāyana: “Sa Droṇa Parva, isang handaan—na pinarangalan sa pinakamataas na paraan—ang inihandog sa mga brāhmaṇa.” Ipinahihiwatig ng taludtod na kahit sa gitna ng dahas at kaguluhan ng digmaan, dapat panatilihin ang paggalang sa mga vipra at ang tungkulin ng marangal na pagtanggap sa panauhin (atithi-satkāra).
