इदं तृतीयं भ्रातृणामर्थ यत्‌ स्थातुमिच्छसि । विशुद्धोईसि महाभाग सुखी विगतकल्मष:

Transliteration

idaṁ tṛtīyaṁ bhrātṝṇām artha yat sthātum icchasi | viśuddho 'si mahābhāga sukhī vigata-kalmaṣaḥ ||

Translation

Wika ni Vaiśampāyana: “Ito ang ikatlong pagsubok hinggil sa kapakanan ng iyong mga kapatid. Sapagkat nais mong manatili (kahit sa impiyerno) alang-alang sa kanila, na di iniintindi ang sariling ginhawa, O lubhang pinagpala, napatunayang dalisay ka. Wala kang bahid ng kasalanan; kaya’t manatag ka at tamasahin ang ligaya.”
