Indra and Dharma’s Consolation; Celestial Gaṅgā Purification
The verse offers ethical consolation: anxiety and grief should ease when one recognizes that the righteous and one’s companions have reached their deserved state. It frames emotional release as grounded in trust that each being attains an appropriate ‘station’ according to dharma and karma.
In Svargārohaṇa (the ascent to heaven), the narrator directs the listener to look upon the brothers and the allied kings of the Pāṇḍava side, now established in their respective abodes. This vision is meant to remove lingering mental distress about their fate.
