Cāturāśramya-dharma—Marks of the Four Āśramas (चातुराश्रम्यधर्मः)
एतान्येवंप्रकाराणि विहितानि पुरानघ । सर्वलोकस्य कर्माणि कर्तव्यानीह पार्थिव
etāny evaṁprakārāṇi vihitāni purānagha | sarvalokasya karmāṇi kartavyānīha pārthiva || niṣpāpa nareśa |
Wika ni Indra: “O walang-dungis, ang mga tungkuling ito—sa ganitong anyo—ay itinakda na noong unang panahon. Sa mundong ito, O hari, ang mga gawain at pananagutan ng lahat ng tao ay dapat isagawa ayon dito. O walang-kapintasan na panginoon ng mga tao, kahit yaong nabubuhay sa pandarambong ay dapat tumupad sa mga kautusang ito nang wasto.”
