तत्रैनं रुषिता विप्रा विप्रकारप्रधर्षिता: । थक्ष्यन्ति वाग्बला: पापं ततो नाशं गमिष्यति,“उसके विरुद्धाचरणसे तिरस्कृत हो रोषमें भरे हुए वाक॒शक्तिसे सम्पन्न ब्राह्मण वहीं उस पापीको जला देंगे। इससे उसका नाश हो जायगा”
tatrainaṁ ruṣitā viprā viprakāra-pradharṣitāḥ | thakṣyanti vāg-balāḥ pāpaṁ tato nāśaṁ gamiṣyati ||
Doon, ang mga brāhmaṇa—nagngangalit at napahiya dahil sa kanyang masamang asal—ay, taglay ang lakas ng kanilang pananalita, susunugin ang makasalanang iyon. Mula roon, siya’y hahantong sa pagkapuksa.
वायुदेव उवाच
The verse teaches that adharma—especially insulting or harming Brahmins and the righteous—brings inevitable downfall. The 'strength of speech' (vāk-bala) signifies the moral potency of truth, mantra, and righteous indignation, which can become a force of retribution against wrongdoing.
Vāyudeva describes a consequence awaiting an unnamed wrongdoer: Brahmins, provoked by his offenses against them, will use their powerful speech to 'burn' him—i.e., destroy him through curse-like utterance or spiritually potent condemnation—leading to his ruin.
