गोमत्यास्त्वेष पुलिने त्वददर्शनसमुत्सुक: । आसीनो वर्तयन ब्रह्म ब्राह्मण: संशितव्रत:
gomatyāstv eṣa puline tvad-adarśana-samutsukaḥ | āsīno vartayan brahma brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśita-vrataḥ ||
Wika ni Bhishma: “Sa mabuhanging pampang ng ilog Gomatī ay nakaupo ang isang Brahmin na matatag at mahigpit sa kanyang mga panata. Binibigkas niya ang mga Veda at nananatili roon, sabik na masilayan ka.”
भीष्म उवाच
