Educational Q&A

Seek guidance from a trustworthy authority and inquire with proper decorum; true dharma is transmitted through disciplined questioning and reliable instruction, not through misleading or false doctrines.

A Brahmin advises the listener to go to a particular person (implied to be a competent teacher) and, following proper etiquette, ask the desired question; the teacher is affirmed as one who will reveal the highest dharma without teaching anything false.
