यथा येन च कल्पेन स तस्मै द्विजसत्तम: । कथां कथितवान् पृष्टस्तथा त्वमपि मे शृणु
yathā yena ca kalpena sa tasmai dvijasattamaḥ | kathāṃ kathitavān pṛṣṭas tathā tvam api me śṛṇu
Sinabi ni Bhishma: “Sa anumang paraan at sa anumang pamamaraan na ang pinakadakila sa mga ‘dalawang-beses isinilang’ (brahmana), nang siya’y tanungin, ay nagsalaysay ng kuwento sa kanya—gayundin, makinig ka sa akin habang isinasalaysay ko ito sa iyo.”
