The verse highlights Agni as a universal mediator and benefactor: the sacrificial fire upholds dharmic order by connecting human action (yajña) with divine and cosmic welfare, implying that rightly performed sacred duties are meant for the good of all beings.
Arjuna addresses Agni directly in a reverential tone, praising him as the Hotṛ of all sacrifices and as one who benefits gods, humans, and the entire world—framing Agni as central to ritual efficacy and universal well-being.
