नारायणो हि विश्वात्मा चतुर्मूर्ति: सनातन: । धर्मात्मज: सम्बभूव पितैव॑ मे5भ्यभाषत,मेरे पिताजीने मुझे यह बताया था कि भगवान् नारायण सम्पूर्ण जगत्के आत्मा, चतुर्मूर्ति और सनातन देवता हैं। वे ही एक समय धर्मके पुत्ररूपसे प्रकट हुए थे
nārāyaṇo hi viśvātmā caturmūrtiḥ sanātanaḥ | dharmātmajaḥ sambabhūva pitā iva me 'bhyabhāṣata ||
Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Si Nārāyaṇa nga ang Kaluluwang Pandaigdig—walang hanggan at nahahayag sa apat na anyo. Minsan ay nagpakita Siya bilang anak ni Dharma. Ito, na para bang ang aking ama mismo, ang nagsabi sa akin.”
