नारायणीयमाख्यानम् (Nārāyaṇīyam Ākhyānam) — Nārada’s Return and Hymnic Consolidation
गुणान् संत्यज्य शब्दादीन् पदमभ्यगमत् परम् | इस प्रकार अपना प्रभाव दिखलाकर शुकदेवजी अन्तर्धान हो गये और शब्द आदि गुणोंका परित्याग करके परमपदको प्राप्त हुए
guṇān saṃtyajya śabdādīn padam abhyagamat param | iti prakāraṃ svaprabhāvaṃ darśayitvā śukadevaḥ antardhānaṃ gataḥ, śabdādi-guṇān parityajya parama-padaṃ prāptaḥ ||
Wika ni Bhishma: Tinalikdan niya ang mga katangiang pandama, simula sa tunog, at narating ang sukdulang kalagayan. Kaya, matapos ipamalas ang kapangyarihang espirituwal, si Śukadeva ay naglaho sa paningin; iniwan niya ang mga guna gaya ng tunog na nagbubuklod sa may-katawan sa karanasang pandama, at naabot ang pinakamataas na hantungan.
भीष्म उवाच
Liberation is portrayed as the result of renouncing attachment to sense-qualities (beginning with sound). By abandoning the guṇas as experienced through the senses, one attains the supreme state (parama-pada), emphasizing inner detachment as a central dharmic discipline.
Bhīṣma recounts that Śukadeva, after demonstrating his spiritual potency, disappears from sight and attains the highest state by renouncing the sensory qualities such as sound—signifying his final transcendence beyond embodied experience.
