Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how righteous or momentous events are affirmed not only by humans but also by higher and neutral witnesses (sages, celestial beings). Such collective rejoicing functions as an auspicious confirmation that the unfolding action aligns with dharma.

After witnessing a significant occurrence (implied by “seeing this”), Gandharvas, sages, and other mountain-dwellers erupt in loud joy. Their celebratory sound spreads across the heavens, marking the event as extraordinary and publicly acknowledged in the cosmic arena.
