पितृयज्ञे नारायणतत्त्वम् — The Nārāyaṇa Grounding of Ancestral Offerings

स पुनर्योगमास्थाय मोक्षमार्गोपलब्धये । महायोगेश्वरो भूत्वा सो5त्यक्रामद्‌ विहायसम्‌,फिर मोक्षमार्गकी उपलब्धिके लिये योगका आश्रय ले महान्‌ योगेश्वर होकर वे आकाश में उड़नेके लिये तैयार हो गये

sa punar yogam āsthāya mokṣa-mārgopalabdhaye | mahā-yogeśvaro bhūtvā so ’tyakrāmad vihāyasam ||

Wika ni Bhīṣma: “Pagkaraan, muling sumandig siya sa yoga upang matamo ang pagkaunawa sa landas ng paglaya (mokṣa). Naging dakilang panginoon ng mga yogin, at nilampasan ang karaniwang hangganan, siya’y gumalaw sa kalangitan.”

Liberation is approached through deliberate yogic discipline: by repeatedly taking refuge in yoga (yogam āsthāya) one gains realization of the mokṣa-path (mokṣa-mārgopalabdhaye), and spiritual mastery is depicted as the natural outcome of inner attainment.

Bhīṣma describes a figure who, seeking realization of the path to liberation, resumes yogic practice, becomes a great yogic master (mahā-yogeśvara), and then transcends ordinary movement by passing through the sky (vihāyasa).
