देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
पश्यति च्छिन्नभूतं हि जीवलोकं स्वकर्मणा । तत् कुरुष्व तथा पुत्र कृत्स्नं यत् समुदाह्मतम्,मनुष्य अपने-अपने कर्मोंके अनुसार ही इस जीव-जगत्को छिजन्न-भिन्न हुआ देखता है, अत: बेटा! मैंने जो कुछ कहा है, वह सब काममें लाओ
paśyati chinnabhūtaṃ hi jīvalokaṃ svakarmaṇā | tat kuruṣva tathā putra kṛtsnaṃ yat samudāhṛtam ||
Wika ni Vyāsa: “Nakikita ng tao ang mundong ito ng mga nilalang na waring watak-watak at punit-punit, hinubog ng sariling mga gawa ng bawat isa. Kaya, anak ko, isagawa mo nang ganap ang lahat ng aking ipinahayag.”
