इदं निदर्शनं मया तवेह पुत्र साम्प्रतम् स्वदर्शनानुमानत: प्रवर्णितं कुरुष्व तत्,बेटा! मैंने अपने शास्त्रज्ञान और अनुमानके द्वारा इस समय तुम्हें जिस ज्ञानका उपदेश किया है, तुम उसीके अनुसार आचरण करो
idam nidarśanaṃ mayā taveha putra sāmpratam svadarśanānumānataḥ pravarṇitaṃ kuruṣva tat
Wika ni Vyāsa: “Anak ko, dito at ngayon ay inilahad ko sa iyo ang aral na ito bilang halimbawa, mula sa sarili kong pagtanaw at sa makatuwirang paghinuha. Kumilos ka ayon dito.”
