Yājñavalkya on the Unity of Sāṃkhya and Yoga and the Marks of Meditative Composure

पजञ्चविंशो महानात्मा तस्यैवाप्रतिबोधनात्‌ | विमलस्य विशुद्धस्य शुद्धाशुद्धनिषेवणात्‌

pañcaviṁśo mahānātmā tasyaivāpratibodhanāt | vimalasya viśuddhasya śuddhāśuddhaniṣevaṇāt ||

Wika ni Vasiṣṭha: “Ang ika-dalawampu’t limang prinsip—ang Dakilang Sarili—sa likas nitong kalagayan ay walang dungis at ganap na dalisay. Ngunit dahil sa hindi pagkakilala rito, at dahil sa pakikisalamuha at pagpapakalunod sa mga bagay na dalisay at marumi, ang Sariling iyon—bagaman tunay na walang bahid at walang pagkakadikit—ay nagmumukhang para bang katulad ng dalisay at ng marumi. O panginoon ng lupa, sa pakikisama sa mga walang pag-unawa, maging ang may pag-unawa ay nagiging walang pag-unawa.”
