Adhyātma–Adhibhūta–Adhidaivata Correspondences and the Triguṇa Lakṣaṇas (Śānti-parva 301)
परमात्मानमासाद्य तद्भूतायतनामला: । अमृतत्वाय कल्पन्ते न निवर्तन्ति वा विभो
paramātmānam āsādya tadbhūtāyatanāmalāḥ | amṛtatvāya kalpante na nivartanti vā vibho ||
Sinabi ni Bhishma: Pagkaabot sa Paramātman, ang mga yogin na iyon—na nalinis na at naitatag sa Kanya bilang mismong saligan ng kanilang pag-iral—ay nagiging karapat-dapat sa kawalang-kamatayan. O Makapangyarihan, hindi na sila muling bumabalik (sa muling pagsilang sa daigdig).
भीष्म उवाच
Union with the Supreme Self culminates in purification and deathlessness; the liberated yogin does not return to the cycle of rebirth.
Bhishma, instructing on liberation, describes the final result of spiritual realization: the yogin attains the Paramatman, becomes identified with That, and is freed from return to worldly existence.
